Because I am a one person business, I adhere to the following policies to be sensitive to both my time and yours.
Since sessions begin and end on time, you can make the most out of your session by coming 5-10 minutes early so we can have a couple of minutes to say hello and discuss your goals for the session. The majority of my clients live very scheduled lives, so I find that my taking responsibility for starting and stopping everyone’s sessions on time allows clients to fully relax and not have to worry about making it to their next appointment.
Cancellations or changes:
A minimum of 48 hours advance notice is required for appointment changes or cancellations.
When I hold a time slot for one client, it prevents me from being able to give another client an appointment to see me during that time and leaves me with empty work hours.
Because of this, I do enforce a 48-hour cancellation/change policy as follows:
- If changes or cancellations are made with less than 48 but more than 24 hours notice, I charge ½ of the total cost of the session you booked.
- If changes or cancellations are made with less than 24 hours notice, I charge the full price of the session you booked.
Of course, in the event of the occasional true emergency or illness, you will not be charged.
Please note: I hold myself to the same standards regarding cancellations or changes. In the event that I have to cancel or significantly change a session with less than 48 but more than 24 hours notice, you will be given ½ off your next session with me. If I significantly change or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will receive your next full session at no cost. Fortunately, emergencies or illnesses are rare.
