Gabrielle pic for v1.3In 1992, I began my transition from corporate life to establish my career as a massage therapist. I received my massage training at the Swedish Institute in New York. In addition to 650 hours of basic training in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Medical Massage, Swedish Massage, and Shiatsu Massage, I have completed over 2,000 continuing education hours in the following (and other) modalities:

  • Low Back, Hip & Buttocks
  • Advanced Neck
  • Palpation Workshop Series
  • Advanced Anatomy Review
  • Body Mechanics
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Pregnancy/Post-Partum Massage – certified
  • Craniosacral Therapy I (Upledger Institute)
  • Myofascial Release
  • Active Isolated Stretching

My work is a synthesis of all of my training and I use a cafeteria-style approach to each session, customizing it for the individual’s immediate requirements.

My goal is to provide a space into which people can come to collaborate with me as they maintain or move toward balance. To that end, I am committed to providing detailed, conscious, and consistent bodywork.
